Back in 1983 when I purchased my Indus GT drive, there were rumors of potential "upgrades" for the drive, allowing such things as a complete Z80 based computer running CP/M which would hook up with some expansion connector on the Indus' circuit board. Having been out of touch with the Atari world for some time now, I was wondering if anything neat for the GT ever did materialize. Also, was any sort of technical information on the GT ever published? Signed, Curious.

The INDUS GT CP/M upgrade is definitely a reality. I spoke recently to someone in the local ACORN (Atari Computer Owners of Rochester, New York) user group who has upgraded his drive. I hope to get more information soon so I can upgrade my INDUS to CP/M status. When I do, I'll share the information with everyone here. Maybe someone here already has that info and could post it? (it'll seem kind of odd to be using my computer as a TERMINAL to my disk drive!!!) -- __________________________________________________________________ ** ** ** | Albert Yarusso | Rochester Institute of Technology | ** ** ** | ajy2208@ritvax.bitnet | Computer Science (Don't use a Sun too | ** ** ** | ajy2208.ritcv.rit.edu | long -- you might get a Sunburn). | ** ** **
