There has been some communication going on regarding ways to send files between Atari 8bit and PC's. I am told that there is an existing program, called UTIL.COM, which runs on a PC and allows the PC to read/write floppies in Atari format (either 128 byte sector/1050/DOS 2.5, or 256 byte sector/XF551/DOSXE or SpartaDOS compatible I hope!). The message goes on to say that the program is down-loadable from the Xanadu BBS. Now I for one have not the hardware, software, nor knowledge to allow me to get it myself. There are a number of people in my situation who would like this program, but for some reason can't get it in the straightforward way. If some kind soul would do the legwork and mail me a working copy, I would 1) reimburse you for any ***COSTS*** incurred, and 2) organize a method for copying and distributing it to the interested parties. -Stan
