I h# ,CC
ave been interested in upgradeing my 8-bit. I enjoy designing circuits that
interface with my 8-bit. The T816 seems like one of the best ways to go for an
upgrade. But have been thinking of placing my 800 XL motherboard in a Baby AT
case along with my 1050 and xf551 drives. Also my P:R: connect should also fix.

If I had an arrangement like this I could reduce the number of power supplies
needed to run my system. I also believe that this would leave room for a 1/2
height Hard drive and possible an MIO inside the case!

I also have been dreaming of a detachable keyboard for my 8-bit for quite some
time. So far the keyboard has been the limiting factor in doing this upgrade
due to the wierd keyboard connector that the 800XL has.
The connector is a 36 connection plastic strip that plug in to a connector that
looks like a half width edge card connector!

Has anyone read, attemped or heard about an upgrade similiar I would like to
know about it. Any info would be appreciated.
