Some time ago, on a disk of some PD software, I got this DOS 2.6 Never heard of it mentioned in any list of DOS's. It's a good DOS, and it has commands to copy specified sectors, check drive speed, translate hex to decimal (and visa versa) numbers, and turn write verify on or off. and some more. It looks like an enhancement of DOS 2.0 Far as I can tell, it's probably public domain, or at least copyable. If true, I could make anyone interested copies.
