[comp.sys.atari.8bit] picture files on atariwriter

Does anyone know of an easy way to merge picture files (any format) into an
Atariwriter file?
Also, what would be the best PD program for creating graphs similar to what
B/Graph can do?
Does anyone out there have Diamond OS and is it worth the 70 bucks?

  Merging pictures:
Use some sort of utility to "print" the picture, but direct the printed
output to a disk file instead of the printer. Then add the printed picture
into the atariwriter file at the appropriate place (after you have "printed"
the atariwriter file to a disk file also of course). Then you need to add
the specific code for your printer to turn off the graphics mode. You add
this code immediately at the end of the picture before any of your own text.

  B/Graph:
     Beats me.

  Diamond:
Well, I played with it (a friend has it) and though I didn't really
like it, anyone who uses (and likes) a menu driven dos will probably like
it.
