Somebody loaned me the Alien Voice Box II (no knobs) and two disks to go along with it (demo on one, applications and utililties on the other). So far, when I boot up the demo disk (without holding OPTION down) on an 800XL, I get the main menu but no sound except for a low hum (two distinct tones) that sounds like the oscillators playing at their lowest audible level. I've tried it with the Translator (I don't know which one) and it does the same thing. Oh yeah, the keys lock up too. Am i doing something wrong, or is there something wrong with the Alien stuff?
