I like to have a visual indication of power being on with my Atari set-up. A somewhat annoying problem with the 850 interface is that its pilot LED is is not in view, the way I have things arranged. (the placement of its connectors is ackward, anyway. It's too ackward to have the sio cables running to the front of my set-up) What I did to solve this minor problem was to plug a LED into the current loop I/O (#4). If I remember rightly, pin 7 is tied to +10V thru a 680ohm resistor, and pin 5 is ground. So, I wired a few LEDs in series to these pins on a male 9 pin connector, and pluged that into #4. Now I can see quickly if I forgot to turn the 850 off along with the other stuff after I'm done. (I know that this isn't going to set the Atari world on fire, but it helps solve a minor problem.) --------------------------- 73 de WA2ISE
