Sorry to post this to the net, but when you see a solution to a problem you've had for years, you'll do almost anything for the answer (within limits). OK. That should take care of the "why didn't you try all the possible backbones to mail your message" flames! Diane, I read with interest about the fix for the squirrly reception on the Atari 800. I tried to find the part at my local RS, but didn't come up with it. The best I found was an inline signal booster that required a power source and 2 cable ---> RCA converters. Is this what you are referring to? Do you have the catalog number for the part you bought? Thanks!
