Re: Vt-100 emulators. I've used the original OmniCom, which requires the OMNVIEW 80-column chip, for several years with excellent results. The standalone version should be identical apart from having some additional code to load (since the 80-col E: device is in RAM rather than ROM). If it's still available for $10 that would be a reasonable choice, as would John Dunning's freeware Kermit65. OmniCom supports both xmodem and kermit and also has ascii capture and a very handy "print screen" function which is great for capturing short e-mail messages, names and addresses, etc., to paper without hassle. Kermit65 was sort of unfinished when I last saw it, but if John Dunning has put the finishing touches on it by now, it should be a very satisfactory program too if you just want the kermit protocol. -John Sangster
