I once had a chance to play Pole Position on an 8Bit atari. I'd like to buy the game. Does atari still market it? One problem I had with the game was that it was *impossible* to play with the stick. Is there another controller for it. I'm sure it must be stick playable, but I didnt have too much time to mess with it. -- Brett G. It is a very enjoyable game. Another racing game (my favorite) is 'Great American Cross Country Road Race' by Activision (or maybe Electronic Arts - my copy is at home). It can be found sometimes at closeout counters at big software houses. I saw a couple of copies at Babbages a couple of months ago. As to control in Pole Position, I find the Atari version pretty easy to control with a joystick. I have seen a pirate copy (maybe an early beta copy) that was very difficult to control. Maybe that is what you saw as well. Kit Kimes AT&T Bell Labs Naperville, IL ...!att!iwtsa!kimes
