The demise of the 8-bits has been soundly thrashed out on all possible forums,
yet, what of the brave souls who bought XE-GS's? How long will Atari continue
XE-GS cartridge development/production? Just their fault for not buying a
nintendo? :-P~

In responding to Stephen Jacobs message of 4/30/90 where he says:
>In the article this is responding to, Bob Brodie is said to have stated that
>the TT passed FCC Approval (That, that would mean the TTp, and class A, but
>still...). I hope someone from Atari will brag a bit more to us if this is
>true. If it's true, what configuration--memory, video hardware, ect?

Steve, that is not what I stated at the meeting. I said that it is on it's
way to the FCC. To the best of my knowledge, it has not been certified.
Hope that clears that up for you. We'll save the bragging for later, when all
is passed from Uncle Charlie.

       Best Regards,
