[comp.sys.atari.8bit] IR remote control hardware for Atari 8-bits?

Does anybody know of a device for the Atari 8-bits that can receive
and send IR remote control codes like the ones that TV sets and
stereos respond to?  It would be cool to put my Atari into useful
service as a graphical interface for my TV set, VCR and laserdisc
player.
