Is there any program out there that will allow you to turn a boot disk into dos Loadable file. I have quite a few programs that I would like to put on my hard drive, but have yet to find a program that will do this. I'm using Sparta 3.2d with a Supra Hard Disk Thanks for any info David E. If you are using the MIO, you might try keeping the Boot disk on the HD in .DCM format or something and then uncompressing it to a RAMdisk. Either way, there is a fair chance it isn't going to work. If a program doesn't even want to use DOS, there is a fair chance they will do other nasty things (like direct SIO calls or something.) I have managed to get some programs to boot from MIO RAMdisk, though. The PaperClip Spell Checker fits on there nicely, and a PD game or two work.
