Hey! There are some good things to be said about the 400: it has 4 joystick
ports! Some of the older games looked for all 4 ports... if they didn't see
4 ports they crashed... My copy of MULE wont run on any of the xl's... runs
on my 800's fine (and a friends 400)... another friend's 800xl goes off into
the twilight zone when we run MULE...(he's rather pissed about it too...(he
had a 400 but lost it in a move))... and anyway... the guy who started this
thread was just looking for parts... for all you know his 400 could have been
the first computer he owned...(an 800 was my 1st machine and I wont give it
up for nuthin'...kinda nostalgic...(I bought it in '81))...
anyway of other things: I know that there must be a version of mule more
recent than the one I have that will run on an xl...( I seem to remember a
thread about mule recently, and I can't believe that everyone that was raving
about it had 400's & 800's) so could someone drop me a line about it...
also does anyone know if it (MULE) will run on an st w/ xformer?
