[comp.sys.atari.8bit] Happy computers

Does anyone have any idea what has become of Happy computers? I have a
Happy 1050 and I'm looking for the source code to their software (the
Warp Speed stuff) so I can code up some good hacks to access the weird
areas of the disk that weren't meant to be touched by user hands (such
as sector headers, sector order on each track, etc.). I called Happy a
few years ago and they wouldn't tell me jack even though I was a
registered user (and in fact had bought my Happy mod directly from them,
not a dealer).

I would appreciate any information about the mod if anyone has
hand-hacked their code (which I found a bit too time consuming to
attempt) including what values I need to dump to the drive to get it to
go into programming mode, what parameters I can download into the
drive's RAM, etc. There are some neat things on the disk they supplied
with version 7.0 but I suspect they were always holding back due to
copyright laws or something.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

A couple of year ago you could get the software to make your Happy work
like an Archiever. The Archiever allows you to see what has been done
to the disk, and to modify it. You might try and get a Copy of that
software.
