[comp.sys.atari.8bit] SpartaDOS X versions...

dam1@ra.MsState.Edu (DAMned One) (02/27/91)

Does anybody out there know what the latest (last?) version of the
SpartaDOS X cartridge is?...I have version 4.19 and I know there is
a 4.20...Is ICD still selling the upgrades?...if so, how much are they?

...while I'm on the subject of SpartaDOS...I have a utility that will
allow one to format, read and write an Atari/MyDOS diskette on an IBM
PC compatible...is there something like this for SpartaDOS disks?...
this is not terribly essential since SpartaDOS can read Atari/MyDOS disks,
but it would be more convenient...

I believe that 4.20 is the latest and the last version.

But standard disclaimers apply. ;)

I was on ICD's BBS a month back or so, for the single reason that I wanted the
latest version of the ATARIDOS.SYS driver. The file is free to anyone who
wants to take the time to download it, but it is not freely distributable. If
I remember correctly, ICD indicated that 4.21 *might* come out yet.
