--- With the lack of any real software availability for the 'ole 8-bit these days, I just thought I'd pass along some info about where you can actually buy NEW, COMMERCIAL games for it here in the US. 1. Software Infinity, 642 East Waring Avenue, State College, PA 16801. Aside from their PD/Shareware disks, they've now started to carry commercial games imported from West Germany (and translated into english). So far, they've got about a dozen. Write and ask for a free catalog. 2. Change In Heat, 12 Bella Vista Place, Iowa City IA 52245. As far as I know they only have one 8-bit release so far. It's basically 3 games on a ds disk and called Pondering About Max's. Nice graphics, sound and packaging. Hard to master. Write for pricing info. I have nothing to do with either company...I'm just a fellow 8-bitter passing along some info. If anybody else knows of any other mail-order (US *or* abroad) sources of NEW software for the 8-bit, PLEASE let me know. -Ray
