Maybe the best of all that series. Dave

I tend to disagree with the keyboard issue. I think that the nicest keyboard of the Atari 8-bit series would be the original Atari 800 computers. Beats the pants of the current crop of ST computers' keyboard. Tehn Yit Chin s882854@minyos.xx.rmit.OZ.AU

Here here! The 800 Keyboard is by far the best. Anyone out here know how to get ahold of ANTIC MAG.? Also, Im looking for CARINA BBS program, and info on these would be great! Thanks, from the land of the blue ski and the big fish!

It was awfully good.. my own 8 bit machine is a 800- the 130 XE keyboard was (IMHO) awful. But I really loved the soft-touch 1200XL keyboard. I'm no touch typist, no I won't go farther than that, but the soft-touch feel of the 1200XL keyboard I have never seen in any other keyboard ever in any other computer. I sure would have loved to see what the mechanism looked like...... Dave

Nice and springy.. I miss it now that I use an 800xl. I needed to switch because i got an MIO. (also put in Rambo!). I think theres an even better keyboard than the 1200xl. I read somewhere about putting an IBM keyboard on an atari... THat would be great.. (probably cost an arm..).
