I just got a copy of the _old_ game Blue Max from someone, but there are no instructions, I can figure it out for the most part, but there are somethings which I cannot figure out. -How do you land on the runways? Sometimes it gives you just an R at the bottom, but you cannot land, and some times there is an L and you can. The last couple of games, I ran out of fuel waiting for a runway I could land at. -What do all of the damage codes mean? I figured out G for guns and B for bombs, but after that I am stuck. It's been quite a few years, but as I recall, you need to get fairly close to the runway, reduce your altitude to below 100 (?), *press the fire button once to lower the landing gear* then move your plane down to land. You should glide to a stop. >-What do all of the damage codes mean? I figured out G for guns and > B for bombs, but after that I am stuck. I think there was "F" for fuel (if damaged your fuel went down much more quickly), and "M" for maneuverability (if damaged, your plane moved much more sluggishly). >Thanks Hope this helps. >-- >a----------------------------------------------------------------------------- >| mrsmart@buhub.bradley.edu | The path of excess leads to | >| rknautz@heartland.bradley.edu | the tower of Wisdom. | >| Rob Knautz | -W. It has new graphics and a few new features -- but nothing spectacular. I liked the original better. "2001" has the trying-to-cash-in-on-a-popular-name feel to it. -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Greg "Maddog" Knauss "Aiee!" gknauss@sdcc13.ucsd.edu -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
