References: If anyone knows anything about the HT68K TinyGiant single board computer from Hawthorne Technology (Portland, OR) I would greatly appreciate hearing your opinion. I am on the verge of buying it, and I would like to know about bugs/problems with the board or the software they give you with it. It seems like a really good deal to me. A brief summary for those who may be interested: Hardware: 8 MHz 68000 128K of 64x4 RAM, expand to 512 on board (already socketed) 2 serial (one is used as a console port for a terminal) 1 parallel WD1770 controller for up to 4 5.25" or 3.5" drives Expansion bus Same size and power requirement as a 5.25" drive Software: K-OS One: 1-user 1-task OS that reads/writes MSDOS disks 68000 assembler line editor HTPL compiler (high-level RPN-based language) HTPL source code for operating system and command processor, runtime library, and BIOS/monitor PROMS.
