OK, all you 68000 nerds, here's a chic item to stuff between your
pocket-protector and calculator: Signetics has a nifty, pocket-
sized 68000 reference manual. They've actually had it for years,
but last year claimed they were out of stock.
The manual is an obvious copy of Motorola's "blue book", and must
have been taken from an on-line copy because even the typos are
the same. They omitted a few chapters and appendices, but the
instruction pages and the timings are there. They also changed
the register notation from ()s to []s.
Best of all, they're only 50 cents. You can order the "S68000
User's Guide", stock # 98-8680-020 from:
Signetics Corporation
Publications Services, M/S 27
811 E. Arques Avenue
P.O. Box 3409
Sunnyvale, CA 94088-3409
Motorola's 68000 manual used to be available directly from Motorola
for two to three dollars, depending on quantity. Anyone know if
it still is, whether other manuals (68020, 68881...) are similarly
priced, and what the address is?
