Hi,
I have a rather old computer called a Cipher. It was a kit that a friend
of mine built quite a while back. It has a Z-80 & a 68000 in it sharing
a bus & 256K of memory. The board was put out by Hotel Computers out of
Canada. Have any of you folks _ANYWHERE_ heard of this beastie? I am
looking for info on current software, etc....
Thanks

I ran CP/M 68k on it (yeech); I think OS-9 is available for it. Since there is virtually no software written to run under CP/M 68k, I suggest you contact Microware (Microway?) about OS-9. Much better OS. Motel computers died a few years ago, but I did meet the people who designed the board, and, as it happens, I went to school with the fellow that wrote the BIOS for the thing.
