[comp.sys.m68k] pd 68K floating point routines

jsm@phoenix.Princeton.EDU (John Scott McCauley Jr.) (07/28/88)

I couldn't find any IEEE-style floating point packages for the 68000, so
in my spare time I hacked one together. It probably has *lots* of bugs, but
it seems to work. Those on the internet can obtain a copy via anonymous
ftp from either:

	princeton.princeton.edu in the file /pub/gnulib68k.c
		-or-
	prep.ai.mit.edu in the file /usr/ftp/pub/gnulib68k.c

Those not on the internet can email me, and if there is sufficient interest,
I'll post it to the net.

It is designed to replace the file gnulib.c in the gcc distribution and
compiled using gcc with the -O option, but others could cannibalize the
floating point routines for their own purposes.

	Hope this is useful,

		Scott
