[comp.sys.m68k] PT68K computer

iannucci@sjuvax.UUCP (the dirty vicar) (08/19/88)

Help! I have to go to school this semester, and I need money!
For this reason, and also because my reason for buying it is no
longer valid (my priorities have changed), I have this machine
for sale. It's called PT68K-2, made by Periperhal Technology
of Marietta, Ga. It was the subject of a series of articles
in Radio-Electronics starting in October 1987. I bought the
motherboard assembled and tested.

		10 MHz 68000 CPU
		1 Meg RAM
		4 RS232 (68681 DUART)
		Floppy controller
		Real-time clock (on-board battery)
		6 IBM-compatible 8-bit expansion slots
Can support standard WD half-slot HD controller
		HUMBUG monitor in ROM
Console I/O either by serial terminal or standard
			clone keyboard and monitor.
SK*DOS operating system (OS9/68000 is available from PT)
Numerous utilities, including MS-DOS disk read/write
		"Small C" compiler
		Documentation

You can have this for what I paid for it not long ago, which is
considerably LESS than what you would pay for it today because
of the recent increase in the cost of RAM! You can have just the
board and software, or you can have it with the case, power supply
and floppy drive that are now with it. In the former configuration
it will cost you $650, and in the latter $825. Price is (a little :-)
negotiable. Hey, I'm even willing to part with my beloved Concept APL
terminal for nothin' if it will get you to buy this computer! Please
help a needy student! :-)
