I'm looking for a VME-bus board to interface an incremental encoder. Does anyone known where to find it? I would also appreciate any information on robot control software running under Versa-Dos. Thanks Paolo Valigi valigi@riccati.csl.uiuc.edu (preferred) control2@uicsl.csl.uiuc.edu

In response to the inquiry about a VME-bus servo board, my company manufactures a VME-bus servo control board that uses the HCTL-1000 motion control IC's. It is capable of controlling up to 8 axes simultanously. The board has 8 digital outputs and 24 digital inputs available for brakes and limit switches. It is designed to control virtually any kind of encoder-motor combination. Drivers are included for operating it under LynxOS, our real-time, UNIX-compatible operating system. LynxOS is available on various VME-bus boards and also for 80386-based PC AT's. If you want some more information, please give me a call at : (408) 370-2233 or send me a message at vik@lynx. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "I don't know what it is, but it's weird and pissed off" (something somebody might say about installing CERTAIN kinds of networking software)... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
