I am looking for the following software tools to be used on my project, which uses a 68020 as an embedded processor: -a 68020 assembler -a 68020 software simulator I am looking for either public domain or commercial software. The assembler has to be able to generate code which can be burned into a ROM (I understand that the Motorola S-record format seems to be the standard for this?). Can this be done using the standard assembler on a SUN3? The software simulator should allow me to single-step my 68020 code while displaying register content. It should also hopefully allow me to simulate inputs and outputs through the use of data files. I am currently aware of such products available from Avocet Systems Inc: a 680x0 assembler and the Big Bang 680x0 simulator. Has anybody used these? BTW, the host can be either UNIX or DOS-based. I am quite new to the world of Motorola, so please bear with me if this has already been answered n times... Thank you in advance. -- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jean-Francois Panisset "Oui Allo!"
