I'm looking for disk mounting parts for a Motorola "System 8000"
VME system. This is similar to a VME-20 (maybe the same?).
It's a 5 1/4" mounting setup for ordinary IBM-PC type disk drives
and tape drives. I have the box, but I need the "craddle" for
another disk drive. It's a piece of sheet metal with rubber
shock mounts.
Does anyone have such a thing that you you no longer need, or know
where I could get one?

To those that have responded saying that you have the Motorola
part numbers for the above items, please mail them to me. I
have not been able to reply to your messages via e-mail;
they all bounce. So far I've been batting zero when it comes
to getting information about ording anything from Motorola -
now I can't even reply to email from people that say they know
how to do it! I'm starting to think maybe Motorola doesn't
really exist. It's all a CIA plot!
