[comp.sys.m68k] Motorola Freeware BBS?

nut@wet.UUCP (adam tilghman) (02/28/90)

I have heard passing references to a BBS which stocks scads of 68K
code, called the Freeware BBS or something similar. Can someone send me
this BBS's number, if it exists?

(just Reply if your mailer chokes on the address in my signature)

Yes, the FreeWare line is alive and well, and living in Oakhill, TX.
Just call (512)891-FREE (891-3733). 8-bits, 1-stop, no parity, 1200 (2400?)
baud. Instructions are on-line. The lines are usually busy, so you may
have to try several times to get through.

The SYSOP is currently in the process of setting up another system which
will have 8 300-2400 lines instead of the 4 that now exist. Additionally,
there may be (TBD) a 19200 PEP line for anon uucp. Help is on the way.

Regards,
