A fellow named (I believe) Hal Hardenberg used to publish a newsletter which was originally intended for users of a Single Board Computer that he designed and sold. The newsletter and the SBC were both called *DTACK (pronounced "DTACK grounded") and that's supposedly how the board ran. I recall the SBC being renowned for its speed at the time (circa 1984) Does anybody have any current info about this Mr. Hardenberg, his business or his newsletter? I used to know plenty of people who subscribed to the newsletter even though they didn't own his hardware. The newsletter was quite interesting, full of industry rumours that often turned out to be true, and full of HH's own brand of entertaining and informative bluster. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Michael O'Donnell (508)392-2915 home(508)251-7576 fax(508)392-2492 ___________ / ________/__ ...!{harvard,uunet,petsd}!masscomp!mod /__/_______/ / mod@westford.ccur.com Concurrent /__________/ Computer Corporation 1 Technology Way Westford, MA 01886 DISCLAIMER: My opinions only coincidentally resemble those of my employer. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
