I am a graduate student in a real-time operating system group, and we are investigating predicting program execution times. In connection with this I am looking for a 68020 simulator. We are generating 68020 code for our target boxes, but I would like to be able to simulate their execution so I can have another way to evaluate my predicted execution times. I would probably need the source for it as well, since I will need to take a number of other architectural factors into account. These would include the NUMA aspects of memory access, the MMU, and caching. There are a number of details about the Spring project and our assumptions about scheduling that make this simpler than it sounds, though it will not be easy.
