I did a little assembly a long time ago, and am now getting back into it by necessity. Basically, I need to program on the m68hc11 chip, but what I need is a book for any chip ( but preferrably 680x0, I don't expect there is any thing for the hc11, besides motorola's references.) that discusses basics like fixed point arithmetic, jump tables , tables in general, interupts, and other tecniques for getting system and application programming done nicely. Please reply by email if you have any recommendations. I will post a summary just in case some other poor soul is looking for the same thing. Thanks in advance.
