YES!! The MEN-A4 is a VMEbus based board (6U) with 68332, 0.5-2 MByte of DRAM (dual ported to the VMEbus), 0.5 Mbyte of SRAM (battery backed), up to 2 MByte of EPROM, clock/calendar and RS-232. The board has three piggyback positions with a lot of available modules: SCSI, Ethernet, ARCNET, serial, digital/anaolg I/O and a lot more. Lines form the TPU in the 68332 are fed to the piggybacks, thus giving a lot of possibilities to use the TPU for custom modules. The piggyback interface is VERY simple. There is also a DMA controller on the board (up to 5 MByte/s) that can be used on the memory, piggybacks and VMEbus. VMEbus interface logic contains a (relatively simple) system controller and interrupt handler. It is also possible to generate interrupts on the VMEbus, thus making the A4 board a very flexible intelligent I/O controller. The OS-9 realtime, multitasking operating system is supported, and there is SCSI software, TCP/IP and NFS for Ethernet and the OS-9 Network File Manager across the VMEbus (or ARCNET if you like that).
