I'm looking for a build-your-own 68000-based computer kit. I've seen mention of such in this group. I bought a book suggested in this group (I forget it's name - it's red) but it seems to suggest building the computer as a board on a S100 bus or some other old thing. Well, I don't *have* such a bus lying around, so this kit has to be standalone. Note that I'm not a complete amateur - at Caltech we build a 80186-based single-board computer, although with lots of fancy equipment to help. Is such a kit available for <$500?
