[sci.electronics] Card reader sources wanted!!!

crunch@well.UUCP (John Draper) (12/12/86)

I am working on a rather novel computer application that requires
a Card reader transport. A card reader transport is a device that
moves a small magnetic card past a magnetic head. It's used to
read and store data on the card.

I am interested in knowing the manufacturer, and preferably their
phone number, telex, or address. A NET address would be asking to
much (grin).

While not suitable as a manufacturing source, Herbach and Rademan has fair
prices on surplus card readers, suitable for hobby or personal use. They
also have quite a bit of other surplus stuff. Order once to get on their
bi-monthly mailing forever. No Usenet access, to my knowledge!
