Since so many people wanted to be informed, I'm posting this to the net.
I just found out yesterday that tickets for the Grateful Dead shows September at
Red Rocks park will be sold partly by mail order directly from San Francisco.
Since those have already gone on sale it is probably too late to get them from
this route (only about 5000 tickets/show). Sorry about that, but I got screwed
too! My friends didn't tell me about it, all just assumed someone else would
tell me, I guess. I'm pissed, but what can I do? They say I should have
called the Dead hotline, but I don't have the number. Anyone care to supply
it for me? Anyway, the rest of the tickets will be sold locally through
Select-A-Seat starting Aug. 10. I plan to be on line and get as many as I can.
(Select-A-Seat has a 10 ticket/show/person limit).
The dates for the shows will be Sept. 6,7, and 8. That's about all I know,
but feel free to mail me if you have specific questions and I'll try and find
out for you.
