[sci.electronics] binary clock chip

kwf@ece-csc.UUCP (02/25/87)

I'm looking for a digital clock IC which provides the hours and minutes
in binary. I don't really care about seconds, or the date. A 12 hour
format is prefereble, but 24 will do. It would be nice to have
the time reference be based on a 60Hz line freq (but a crystal is ok).
I realize that this function can be performed using a few counters
and a little logic, but I'm hoping to find one chip to do it all.
Also, the hours and mins. should always be at the output pins, no
multiplexing please.

If anyone knows a good part, I would appreciate some info.

Thanks in advance.
