In order to reduce wear and tear on many of my albums I have made copies of them on cassette tape. That way I occasionally wear out the tapes, but the vinyl records remain in near-new condition. I have been shopping recently for an AM-FM cassette player. Many of the reasonably-priced "boom boxes" have "graphic equalizers", but virtually all of them lack Dolby noise reduction circuitry. Since my cassettes were recorded with Dolby C, I am wondering if anyone who is familiar with the Dolby process can recommend a setting for the graphic equalizer switches that will result in approximately normal tone. Suggestions? Thanks. Kurt Liebezeit ...!ihnp4!uiucuxc!uicsl!klieb
