Recent news accounts about the messile attack on the Stark have mentioned a radar countermeasure called a "Rubber Duckie" which is a rubber raft towed behind a ship. The raft contains very efficient radar reflectors which make the center of the ship apear somewhere bhind where the ship actially is. Are there any standard references on these types of countermeasures? Specifically, how big a "Rubber Duckie" does one need? Offhand it sounds very promising: A rubber raft can carry a big enough reflector to make it appear, on radar, as big or bigger than a Navy ship. -Zigurd
