[] The article is titled: 'Firms Rush to Commercialize Multifaceted Diamond Films' It is about creating thin-film coatings of diamond, and the part I find that is of interest is: 'Closer at hand is a diamond-film "heat sink", the tiny core of a microchip designed to bleed built-up heat away from the circuit. Japan's __Sumitomo Electric Indutries Inc.__ sells a heat sink made of synthetic diamond, although it's not made of the more flexible [manufacturing process] thin-film material. __Sumitomo__ also markets the only __current commercial thin-film diamond product__, __a diamond-coated speaker component__ that utilizes diamond's rigidity to improve sound reproduction.' {"[]" and "__" are mine} Anyone know under what brand name(s) or used in what product(s) the diamond-film coated 'speaker component' is being sold? The latest advance I heard of was titanium coated dome speakers, now we'll have diamond coated speakers ?!! -- --==---==---==-- .. Beware the Jabberwock, my son! ..
