[sci.electronics] TTL, CMOS, VLSI books needed

  I'd like to get my fiance' a couple of books for Christmas, but
the only information I can get out of him is that he wants TTL,
CMOS, and VLSI applications books.  Since I'm a software person and
don't know about these things, I'd appreciate some reccomendations.
Please respond by email (I may not see the info if you post), and I'll
summarize if anyone is interested.
