I just found that our two HP Logic Analysis Systems have a hidden feature. If, for instance, you have spent the whole day entering a complex configuration and you happen to lean on the top of the analyzer's cabinet, it assumes you've been working too long and power-fails -- losing all of your work! Actually, an in-depth investigation revealed that the uninsulated metal cover bends about 3mm and shorts-out against the screws that protrude up through the power supply cover. A length of electrical tape solves the problem. So, before you invest a lot of time on your test set-up, try the squeeze test on your machine! Gary PS- They use TORX bolts on the enclosure, just to be annoying.
