With all the talk in the press about potential implications of high temperature superconductors, there seems to be almost no info on how those applications would work or what all of them would be. For example, how do you put power into a superconducting storage device? Are there small scale versions that can replace batteries? How about high-Q RF devices? Can they be made or are there physical limits associated with the frequency?
