John is mostly correct;
the magazine's title is "The Journal of Electronic Defense".
The AOC (Association of Old Crows) is mostly people involved in
electronic warfare (jamming, radars, communications, anything
in the electromagnetic spectrum).

The ads in the magazine are mostly for microwave equipment manufacturers
(as if I need a millimeter wave antenna in my garage).

They have many goals, such as increasing the public's awareness and
understanding of EW (Electronic Warfare).
They publish a book "The History of Electronic Warfare in the US",
which is surprisingly good reading.
It traces the first use of electronic warfare to the civil war
where telegraph wires were tapped (surveilance),
false messsages were sent (deception and confusion),
and messages were misdirected.
Many WWII developments are discussed since they are now unclassified.
I don't recall much discussion about the enigma cipher,
but there are already many books about that.
