Hi. Does anyone know of a reasonably priced bar code wand (<$100). I've used a homebuilt one with the HP HEDS1000 optosensor but a real wand would be nice. Also for anyone who has built a scanner - what have you found to be the most reliable way of reading code 39. I have tried timing dark and light areas and them using a lookup table but the scanning rate has to be very constant - any ideas for a better method ? Thanks /leonard
