[sci.electronics] EDIF, schematics, etc

max@trinity.uucp (Max Hauser) (03/10/88)

As the schematics-posting topic originated, and most of the discussion
continues, in sci.electronics, *please* follow up there, not in comp.lsi.
Post in both groups if you have to; but preferably just in sci.electronics,
and NOT just in comp.lsi. This will stem the divergence of discussion that
is already occurring in both groups.

sic.electronics is appropriate both because the topic transcends
integrated circuits (it's about all kinds of schematics), and also
because it originated there.

Thanks!

Seems like what we need is a Public Domain graphics editor that reads/writes
EDIF. Too bad emacs doesn't (it does everything else {:->).

Anybody up for putting an EDIF front-end on Magic?

Any other Public Domain graphics editors out there?
