[sci.electronics] Radio Data Transmission

snyderw@pawl7.pawl.rpi.edu (Wilson P. Snyder II) (03/12/88)

Hello. I have a application which requires a VERY small transmitter
and reciever onto a single frequency. My requirements are:

Power: Very low, 100 feet line of sight
Frequency: Any, (legal that is), antenna must be wire under 6"
Size:	UNDER 1" by 1", BUT I plan to make it into a custom
Analog chip, so this is not a major problem.
Data:	Over 50kbits per sec on 6 channels (Data only on one
channel at a time, see note below.)

Basically I need three versions of the tranciever.
There are 6 channels, I will call them ABCDEF

	Number 1: Transmitt A, B
	Number 2: Transmitt C, D, Receive A,B,C,D
	Number 3: Transmitt E, F, Receive C, D
Only number three needs to be the smallest.

Obviously, I plan to breadboard this first, then we will see about making
it microscopic. Any help would be appreciated.
