[sci.electronics] Source of old tubes

<<where do I get old tubes?>>

1. Try ham radio flea markets in your area. See "Hamfest Calendar"
in QST magazine for further information. At a flea market, it is
usually a good idea to get several of each type tube you need.
Sometimes the tubes get knocked around in transit. Some vendors
just sell reboxed tubes of unknown origin. The usual caviat emptor
rules apply. Most of the tubes I've bought at flea markets work
just fine.

2. A mail order place that looks pretty good with reasonable
prices is:

United Page
481 Getty Avenue
PO Box 765 Paterson NJ 07503-9989

(201) 279-7500
Fax: (201) 279-0153

I haven't personally ordered anything from Page.
