We're looking for a way to record (continuously)
the screen image from an IBM 3279 terminal onto
a VCR. We need to do this because we have
graphics being displayed in real-time, and dynamics
of the process are best suited for display on a TV,
rather than with slides.
I'm thinking that there must be some way to convert
the RGB outputs to a form the VCR will take, but
then I don't know much about this stuff...
I'm not even sure this is thr right newsgroup for this,
but I'd appreciate any information anyone can give me.
Thanks in advance!
I'd prefer direct email if possible; I'll be happy to
send copies of responses to anyone who wants them.

There is a company called Lyon/Lamb which specializes in building hardware for the interconversion of video formats. They have an extensive line of broadcast-quality units, at broadcast-quality prices, but can usually come up with something to convert anything to anything else for a price.
