Following is a short summary of the first 3 issues of
Circuit Cellar Ink (CC Ink). CC Ink is a magazine by

The magazine was started because of Byte's management changeover
and downplaying of hardware projects. Notice that Steve Ciarcia's
column has been moved to the back and cut to 6 pages. Steve's
contract with Byte expires in December and has not been renewed.
CC Ink was created to support "Practical Applications for the
	Real World."

There's a BBS to support these projects as well as the ones in Byte.
Circuit Cellar BBS: 24 hours 300/1200/2400 baud
8 bits, No parity, 1 stop bit
			    203-871-1988

Circuit Cellar Ink is published bi-monthly, a 1 year subscription
	is $14.95 from :
		Circuit Cellar Ink
		P.O. Box 3378
		Wallingford, CT. 06494
(Or call 203-871-2751 for VISA. Back issues are available for $4)

If you would like to write a project article contact Curt Franklin
(editor-in-chief) at the above phone number or leave a message on
	the BBS.

Disclaimer: I'm just a hacker, I have no connections w/ CC Ink.

Let me just add some more information to Alan's message about INK. I am
a technical editor for the magazine, have a monthly column, and have written
sseveral articles.

Having just completed a switch to a new fulfillment house, subscription
orders should be sent to:

   Circuit Cellar INK Subscriptions
   12 Depot Square
   Peterborough, NH 03458

You can also sign up on-line on the Circuit Cellar BBS at (203) 871-1988.

Let me emphasize that after the December 1988 issue of BYTE, the will be
NO MORE Ciarcia's Circuit Cellar articles in BYTE magazine. All of Steve's
efforts will be going into INK from now on.

Finally I want to point out that Curt Franklin, the new editor-in-chief of
INK, came from being the senior testing editor for BYTE's testing lab.

So if you liked the kind of articles Steve wrote as of a few years ago, I
think you'd enjoy Circuit Cellar INK.
