Metheus Corporation is an aggressive and growing company founded
in June of 1981 at Hillsboro, Oregon. We focus on workstations with CAD
software for VLSI design. Lambda 750 is our first major product. It is
a multi-68000 based color graphics workstation running 4.1 BSD UNIX
with Virtual Memory and 4.2 BSD Local Area Network extensions. We have
been shipping our Lambda family products since July of 83'.
We are ready to start a number of new projects. We welcome those
who are qualified and highly motivated to take the challenge and share
the sensational experience of accomplishment with us!
The following are the engineering positions currently open:

1. Software Design Engineer:
Design and implement the system software for a Lambda family product.
Good knowledge of UNIX kernel internals. Working experience
with micro-processors preferred. BSCS or above.
2. Software Design Engineer:
Design and implement network file server in a team effort.
Good knowledge of Data Base or network communication. BSCS or above.
3. Software Sustaining Engineer:
System software enhencement and bug fixing, customer support.
Good understanding of UNIX and interested in learning the guts of
UNIX internals. BSCS or above.
4. Diagnostic Project Leader:
Develop resident and remote board level diagnostic software for
existing and new products.
5. Hardware Engineer/Senior Technician:
New product design and sustaining of the current products .
6. VLSI-CAD Software Engineers:
Support of existing CAD tools and development of new tools. Specific
area of interest are: schematic capture, design rule checking, graphics
electrical rule checking, circuit extraction, layout, placement and
routing, and simulation.
